Privacy policy
Later Chapters Press publishes books. This page explains what happens to your name and email address when you ask for a book's free reader tools on this website.
What we collect
- Your first name and your email address, which you type into the form.
- The page you signed up on, and whether you came from the printed address, the QR code, or the ebook link.
- The date and time you signed up, and the wording you agreed to at the time.
- Whether you open our emails and click their links, which our email service records.
What we use it for
- To email you the files you asked for.
- To send you an email introducing the author's newsletter, Later Chapters Field Notes.
- To send you an occasional email when a new book is published.
- To count which pages and links readers use, so we know what is useful.
Unsubscribing
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click takes you off the list. You can also write to admin@laterchapters.com and ask us to remove or delete your details.
Who else handles it
We use an email and customer-records service to store the list and send the emails, and a web host to serve these pages. They process your details on our behalf. We do not sell your details to advertisers.
If the business changes hands
If Later Chapters Press, or one of its imprints or books, is sold, merged or transferred, the reader list can pass to the new owner as part of that business. The new owner must use it in line with this policy, and you can still unsubscribe at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you are on the list. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a do-not-contact list so that we never email you again by mistake.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new version number and date.
